Digital Council winds up following successful tenure
Today the Minister for the Digital Economy and Communications Hon David Clark announced that the Digital Council is winding down, with our last meeting taking place on 15th December 2022.
Since 2019, the council has worked with many members of the digital community to provide advice to the Minister and Government on how to maximise the societal benefits of digital and data-driven technologies. Many of our members and stakeholders have contributed their time and expertise to our research work.
We are proud of the advice we have provided, including our involvement in the development of the Digital Strategy for Aotearoa. We are grateful to all the excellent stakeholders across Aotearoa that have contributed to our work, as well as current and past members.
